Before implementing a strategy for the remediation of soil and groundwater contaminants, we make a precise characterization of the contamination and all relevant environmental factors and installations in the affected area. Then we chose the preferred and most efficient remediation model in close dialogue with the customer.
Various remediation methods can be employed depending on the type of contamination. One technique is to dig out contaminated soil, tanks and separators. Another is to fixate and control the contamination to prevent it from spreading. Today, however, many prefer to make use of innovative in-situ technologies, where contaminants are tackled by injecting a special treatment into the ground.
