An interested audience attended Ejlskov’s open house event at St1 in Lahti, Finland on June 18.

The open house demonstration was held at an St1 petrol station in Lahti, where Ejlskov has initiated remediation activities to clean up soil contaminated by an oil leakage.

Almost 30 business contacts and representatives from the Finnish authorities gained an insight into the innovative Trap&Treat ® BOS 200 ® remediation method.

After a short seminar at a nearby location, organized in collaboration with the Finnish environment consultancy company Vahahnen, participants had the opportunity to see the remediation activities in action during a guided tour at the site.

Trap & Treat® BOS200®
Trap & Treat® BOS 200® technology stands out for its ability to degrade components under aerobic and anaerobic conditions. Comprising activated carbon, nutrients and microorganisms, the sustainable slurry is injected into the ground. As its name suggests, the carbon mixture first traps the contaminants and, then, degrades them over a period of 1-3 years. The method involves minimum operational disruption and can be completed without digging up the ground.

Ejlskov is the only supplier of this highly efficient, sustainable and patented technology in Europe.
