Ejlskov has successfully completed the installation of 50,000 kg of CAT100™ across 702 injection locations, at an active site in Western Finland.

The works planned to be undertaken between April and August 2017 were completed on time and causing minimum or no interference to the site activities (including injection works inside the site main building basement).
The client objective was to stop the off-site migration of an extensive chlorinated solvent plume by using an in-situ technology more viable and effective than the previous technologies used since 2005 (Bio/Air-Sparging and Pump&Treat).
Preliminary groundwater data show promising trends with evidence of enhanced reductive dichlorination activity occurring. Groundwater sampling activities will continue on a regular basis to monitor the effectiveness and performance of the treatment.
